◊◊◊ "I was only 19 when I met Giulio for the first time and it is thanks to him that I learned to love the sand that touches my feet. I never imagined winning the Scudetto in the first year done with Giulio; but we were thrilled and the incredible experience of Giulio in beach volley made us win the final championship in Jesolo. If one day I will go back to wearing, as I hope, my beach volleyball uniform and sunglasses, well, my coach can only be Giulio Mosci: it is a hope, a wish or maybe even a threat! With love.." ◊◊◊ "If you guys ask me: 'What do you think about coach Giulio? Well, i would answer Giulio is able to motivate his athletes strongly. His team's players are the best players ever to him and he's able to make them feel this way. It doesn't matter if they're on the field or not. Giulio has always a strong relationship with all of his players which rests on a total sharing of a communal project. On the field Giulio shows his particular attention to the smallest but important details.". Paolo Nicolai

◊◊◊ "My first training session with coach Giulio Mosci dates back to April 2005_ During all of these years I got the chance to take a close look at his professionalism and thanks to my international expertise i can claim that Giulio is one of the best beach volley world coach. If I will have a son, his coach would be Giulio Mosci." Riccardo Fenili

◊◊◊ "I worked with Giulio Mosci during summers of 2013 and 2014. Besides Giulio's unquestionable expertise in all of beach volley sets (technical, tactical and environmental) which makes him one of the best beach volley boffin, what amazes me the most is his deep knowledge about the athletic feat's different biomechanics aspects and functionalities. So I can guarantee that Giulio's job is a brilliant one with any kind of athletes on and outside of the match field. My bestregards and admiration." Michal Lasko

◊◊◊ "I shared lot's of beach volley experiences with Giulio. We've been doing it for a long time and we'll keep doing it longer!! Me. a referee at the beginning then a manager, him, a player become a coach. First of all. I must say that there's always been a great respect and collaboration between me and Giulio. so i feel honored to write about him! When he was a player: his accuracy and his collaboration with the referee have always amazed me. His honesty and sportsmanship have always been a kind of rule to him. His tactical acuity and his ability in reading the game have always identified him among the Italian players. Thanks to these qualities, becoming a coach was not a big deal for Giulio: I would say he is a full pro." Roberto Manzo

◊◊◊ "I started playing beach volley 5 years ago. coach Giulio Mosci was a kind of conquest to me cause in the beginning he used to train only male teams and to bring him to the female sector has not been that easy!!! The beginning of my sport career has been marked by an injury and Giulio has been the only coach who thought me the way how to use my athletic skills not just to take advantage of them, like most of the trainers are used to Each objective was achieved with a sharing spirit. and also after a defeat coach Giulio never made me feel alone on the field and even outside of the working environment. Giulio Mosci can be defined as a coach against the tide, thanks to his technical skills and his great kindness Giulio is able to recognize the athletes' evolution looking through them and he's able to push them further, to the maximum of their potential. We won a lot of battles but we're still fighting to win the war... a war that I would have only dreamed of without coach Giulio's help. I would have never expected to become an athlete of that caliber. Thank you Giulio for making me such a complete athlete.... you teacher, you master and guide but especially a friend." ◊◊◊ "It was the summer of 2010 when I lived the Italian beach volley championship experience. I started the first step of the training in Cesenatico and after playing the first two matches, I got Giulio Mosci's call: he was offering me the opportunity of taking part in a beach volley tournament with one of his strongest athlete, Giorgio Domenghini. winner of several Italian championships. After making inquires and asking my colleagues for information about Giulio, I got a really good feedback even if none of them had worked with him before, so I accepted the offer enthusiastically. After giving him my availability to taking part in the tournament. I moved to Rome to train before the match with my new teammate Domenghini. we were both coached by Giulio. I met high qualified players as Andrea Tomatis. Alex Rangieri, Ivan Zaytzev. The presence of these great athletes made me hope more and more about Giulio's skills. Giulio welcomed me with simplicity and candour; twoqualities that characterize him. The training program was structured by two training sessions a day, which were always performed wisely and with extreme earnestness. Giulio's way of training the team couple amazed me. I still remember the first days with coach Giulio. He didn't ask me to just show him my athletic skills but he was constantly spurring me and making me reason about what the athletic feat was made for. So I got the chance of learning lot's of things and performing all of them on the field; I immediately noticed that Giulio had a particular approach, the carrot and stick approach and I really like it. He was pushing me further. he wanted me to be focused and do a great job. He was spurring me and motivating me strongly, but as soon as he got I was doing it right it was always a pleasure to feel appreciated for what I had been doing. Giulio made me feel equal to his high level players. The first match was a defeat. We worked hard but as everybody can imagine we didn't have enough time to know each other well and so get better results. But it didn't bring us down and I still remember how strongly Giulio motivated me and made me believe in myself. But despite this heavy defeat, we all went to have dinner at coach Giulio's house where we even met his family. At the end of that weekend of training with Giulio I realized how much I had learnt and how great Giulio's job was on both sides. technical and human. I kept training with Giulio and his team refining what he taught me and making it more and more familiar. I've always had fun training with coach Giulio. I took part in two more legs with Giulio's team and we reached a second and a fifth place in those tournaments, I had to quit because I had an injury to one ankle (I'm sure we would have got better results even during that occasion). I still remember those two pleasant legs because, besides the high quality reached with our playing. I realized that Giulio was more than just my coach. He was a friend. According to what I experienced Giulio is a true sportsman, hard to please, highly dedicated, truly determined, honest and simple. My beach volley experience was then interrupted because of my physical problems that have now been solved, if I ever should resume my sport activity in the Rome area, no doubts I would seek Giulio's guide!" ◊◊◊ "Giulio Mosci was my trainer from September 2007 to August 2012, and a full time instructor during summer 2008. I owe him all I know about beach volley, and also all the results I have obtained so far. His innovative training method allows him to work with any kind of athlete in order to shape them as he likes_ His excellent technical skills and his innate passion are the qualities that make him different from the other trainers I met_ Giulio is able to find the key to get in each athlete's mind. I've been observing him during that time. I watched him facing up to other trainers. to other methods always trying to make his model extremely dynamic. He's always asking his athletes for the perfection, always taking the international teams as example. I met a person able to teach his expertise. I can easily claim that almost all of the training I've done with coach Giulio has been a lesson not only for my sport ability but also for my mental growth.Alessio Corsetti

◊◊◊ " When we talk about Giulio Mosci. respecting something that with time became a kind of rule, we are used to give an opinion about Giulio as a person before any kind of judgement about his coaching career. So please forgive me if, even in this occasion. I'm gonna keep respecting that rule. Giulio Mosci, who I consider a friend before anything, is an 'extraordinarius' man. I decided to use the original latin form of the term because I think that the modern one is overused and that it has been deprived of his deep meaning, which I actually want to use to describe Giulio. First of all I have to say that Giulio is a honest person. His approach to the athletes is completely confidential, even just after the first games_ His friendliness, his genuine approach and his positive mood, are able to destroy every kind of formal barrier which is the best way to start a productive job quickly. His ability to captivate and convince. his way of communicating instead of just yelling, make him the twenty first century schizoid man antithesis. All of that is true, but Giulio is a gifted man and like most of the exceptional gifts. even Giulio's ones got consequences. His very casual attitude of dealing the finances, his way of criticizing without diplomacy, his trend to jump to hasty conclusions are no doubts the shadows that Giulio. as everybody else. is used to live with. Innovation, care to smallest details. clear communication and absolute dedication (he often trains for six hours no stop). are with no doubts the characteristics of trainer Giulio Mosci who has sharply optimized the way of practicing beach volley in the years 2000. The study of great champions videos, working on the field with them end his strong will to find reliable solutions to this sport equation that presentshundreds of variables. have made Giulio Mosci who Matteo Varnier and I agreed on defining an absolute phenomenon. His game system is sometimes considered too complicated and demanding to normal players, but what I do every day shows just the contrary. Starting from season 2011 I have been a trainer myself, always teaching the way of playing I learned earlier from Giulio. This training is physically and mentally very demanding, it's crucial to replicate Giulio's ability in simplifying ideas and objectives, showing that the smallest detail can make the difference. All trainees are considered professionals, are followed along their path with the care and attention that Giulio has been able to transmit: as he often says: -there are no unfit players to this way of playing. but trainers unable to teach it properly.”. Gabriele Ghiga

◊◊◊ "The first time I met Giulio was on the beach I was sitting there alone under a sunshade. I was discouraged because of a match I had just lost. Giulio, who had probably watched the entire match, came to me and said: “This kind of game, the one you and your teammate tried to perform, it is not beach volley. Beach volley is having fun first and of course it is not just volleyball played on a send filed. If you wanna try a new way of having fun, come train with me and we'll see what happens”. I've never forgotten those words and I've never forgotten how much those words motived me to keep practicing this sport and made me discover that it was much more interesting and especially fun than what I believed before. Giulio is considered one of the best Italian trainers but he's just the best one to me. Even if it is relatively a short time I practice this sport. I still didn't meet a person like Giulio 'on the field' and 'out of the field'. I like to define him an alchemist because being with Giulio changes you and it does more than what you can expect; and it especially changes the way of considering the sport."Francesco De Luca

◊◊◊ "If I were asked to associate a name to one sport, I'd say Federer-tennis; Pelè-soccer; Bernardi-volleyball and Mosci-beachvolley! I would say Giulio Mosci first because I believe that he lives for Beach Volley and second of course because. according to my modest opinion. I think he is the most experienced man in this sport. on both sides theoretical and technical. I learnt a lot from Giulio, as a player at the beginning and now that I became a coach I'm trying to steal him as much advices as I can! Thanks to his suggestions I got the chance to compare my self to national high qualified athletes since I was a           and maybe the fact of reaching good results at that age already made me continue practicing this sport (the best sport ever). I have a doubt about how to perform an athletic feat correctly? I call Giulio. I'm not sure my training program is the right one? I call Giulio. I need suggestions about how to prepare a match? I call Giulio. He's a Beach Volley encyclopedia. Having an open mind he is a pioneer of the MODERN Beach Volley, with good results proving that! Three qualities to describe Giulio? I have too many up in my mind, but I think there is a word that might perfectly describe him.... COACH!" Domenico Cavaccini

◊◊◊ " I have known Giulio since summer 2011, when a couple couched by him beat me in three different  matches... The following summer I was lucky enough to take part in a few of his training sessions  and I immediately realized that Giulio's approach is based on a very modern concept of Beach  Volley, focused on problem solving. For any issues, he proposed alternative solutions, he  demonstrated deep competence, and was able to refer to techniques of different current and former  players. It's like as if he had a file for each player he has seen, and this is in some ways  frightening... Among all coachers I have met, I cannot think of any better person for my technical  and strategic preparation." Daniele Gambarelli
